Transitioning from private practice to public defense, she became the first in-house immigration specialist at Riverside County, advocating for those facing deportation. Currently a deputy public defender in San Bernardino, she litigates post-conviction relief and serves as a key resource on immigration law, ensuring access to justice for all.
